Aaron Kinvig

I have been working in the arboriculture industry since 2005. Originally from the United Kingdom, I pursued a dream of living among the mountains of British Columbia and was drawn to the environment of Vancouver Island.

Seeking adventure is how I spend my time outside of Strathcona Tree Care, there is no shortage of that here.

As an arborist I get to challenge myself every day physically and mentally, outside among the trees continuing my education in the care of trees.

Born in Thunder Bay and a wanderer by nature it’s no surprise I’ve found myself living on Vancouver Island.

Raising a family in the Comox Valley has been nothing short of a dream. The diversity of land, flora and fauna is fascinating. It keeps me and my family inspired and driven to preserve and explore the island as much as possible.

Strathcona Tree Care allows me to pursue my passion and wonder for nature, adventure and photography all year round.

Climbing Arborist

I’m originally from the New Forest, United Kingdom, where I was fortunate enough to grow up among beautiful natural woodland. I’ve always been captivated with nature and outdoor spaces, and Vancouver Island has become an ideal place to call home. I have experience working in arboriculture in the UK, New Zealand, and Canada, and take enjoyment from the opportunities it provides me to appreciate the outdoors.

In my down time I enjoy hiking, climbing, paddling, and relaxing with an ever growing collection of books.
